ESPN is on my nerves...

Wait, before you read to far...i love espn, i love their sports coverage, i love their reporting (for the most part), i even love all their weird commercials. BUT I am very much tired of their relentless, dramatic, shameless, and overhyped coverage of the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. I know they are the 2 most glamourous baseball teams but they are for sure not the best in the MLB. The Sox have no chance because their bull pin stinks; the Yanks are over paid spoiled brats who are pretty much useless (except for Jeter who is probably the best player in baseball). But for some reason ESPN chooses to focus its main attention on these 2 teams. They totally ignore the following (or at least give it more attention): NL West--pretty much every team is in the hunt but because they are on the West Coast they get no attention or play. NL Central--the Cards are on the brink of totally blowing their lead to the Reds who are playing out of their minds. NL East--for the first time since President Clinton the number one team will NOT be the Braves. The Mets are by far the best team in New York but get hardly any play on ESPN. NL Wild Card--there are like 500 teams within 5 or 6 games of this spot. It will come down to the last week yet they spend about .4333 seconds on this in their broadcast. Now the AL West--3 teams are in it and they will duke it out until Oct. 1 to see who comes out on top. I have to watch sportscenter like 3 times to get hightlights of my Rangers who have won 11 out of 12 but get no respect. AL Central--this will be closer than the West. 3 teams all great pitching and great hitting. Even though Detroit looked like it was going to run away with it, they are fading. I think that the world series champ will come from here but they get absolutely no respect from the 'experts' at
YankSox news station. AL East--naturally the Yanks and Sox play here so they are the sole focus. Though only one will make the playoffs but will shamefully sent home the first round of the playoffs. AL Wild Card--This is between White Sox and Twins. They are by far the 2 best pitching teams as we head to September (don't even try to tell me that the Yanks pitching is better...they just played the Sox who stink with Varitek gone and hardly any big game hitters except for Big Papi).

Anyway, I think we are all tired of the Yank/Sox talk when there are so many other great teams and great races going. Let the debating begin!!
